The Meaning of Honest Magazine

MEANING

We believe in having a reason for making something that resonates with people on a deeper level. The approach we take sheds light on new ideas, concepts and flavors. Recipes and tutorials get you feeling your hands again. Articles of history, science and facts, and profiles on those working with our food systems introduce education in a way that is relatable, inspiring, and teaches us where our food comes from, how it gets to us and the choices we can make.

With the exception of occasional guest contributors, Honest Magazine is designed, photographed and developed by Shannon Douglas. With a home base in a small mountain town outside of Seattle, the magazine is printed in the United States and shipped to readers worldwide.
